I will let you know if I have contractions, if I have more bleeding, if I feel a gush. And yes, for the eight-hundredth time today, I'm sure I'm not leaking anything.
ARGH.
So, this morning I had a really non-reactive nst. Little miss was hiccuping a lot, and moving a lot, but she wasn't performing. They had me on the monitor for 45 minutes, but took me off, because I'm scheduled for an ultrasound today anyway. Just a short little AFI/Doppler check, which I am SURE is going to be fine.
That said, I have been bleeding more today than most days. Stupid bleeding. First it was Wednesday, then a day off, then Friday, then a bit of time off and since then it's been fairly continuous. I'm sort of concerned about the status of my cervix, since I read somewhere that as soon as the internal os starts opening, while it's hard to get going at first, the further it opens, the faster it happens. I read some scary stuff about umbilical cord prolapse with pPROM, and I'm so not wanting my water to break while she's still a footling breech.
I wonder if I'm holding steady, or if things are changing. I wonder when this is all going to play out. Tomorrow is 30 weeks, and if she's still gaining at the same rate she was at my last growth scan on Thursday, she might be up an extra 60 grams, putting her really close to 1100 grams. That's 2lbs7oz. That's still super small.
I can't wait to meet her, but I'd love a long, long time before that happens.
