We came in to the ICU this morning, greeted by a crowd of people surrounding Ellie, as she was doing tummy time with her physiotherapist. Finally, finally, for the first time completely unassisted, Ellie lifted her head, and her shoulders, clear off the ground, using her arms for support.
You wouldn't believe the response she got, the cheers, the hooting and hollering. It was amazing. I am constantly blown away by the amount these people care about my little girl. They were all just as proud of her as I was!
It was amazing. That was the last item on her physio to-do list. That's it, she has "caught" up to her peers!
Now it's time for a new list. One that will include crawling, and walking. I can't believe we're now aiming for her to be mobile. That's pretty huge :)
Hurray!
