... and then we can hopefully go home. Last night was a LOT better for Ellie, although she's still congested, it wasn't nearly as bad as it was on Sunday night. I think Sunday was probably the worst day, and I only see her getting better from that point. She's coughed a few times, sneezed a few times. I wonder how much of her not being congested has to do with it being so dry. Even my nose has cleared up, although I still feel blah.
So many people have stopped by to see Ellie, and she's happy for the attention. We've been talking with RT about Ellie's mask conundrum. The white mask barely fits, and leaves imprints on her nose when she wakes in the morning. The blue mask doesn't fit at all!
I can't believe how sleepy she is. I know that everyone is more tired when they're sick, but I had to wake her up this morning at 8:30, when she was an hour past regular feeding time, and three hours past her normal waking time. She was awake for her bottle, and the required one hour pause between feeding and bipap, and now she's sleeping again. They weighed her, she's 5.935kg, which is up from the last time we were here, so that's good. She's grown so much. The biggest indicators: being able to wear a standard issue hospital bracelet on her leg without it falling off; being able to wearing a sats probe on her big toe, and; needing the crib rails as high as they can go, so she doesn't attempt an escape (yeah, right...)
Off to get little man from school, let DH have time to rest before work, and then planning for an afternoon of watching Treehouse with the kids, here in the hospital.
